Trolling long lines on small boards away from the boat in deep water is definitely the way to go most of the time. But we also bottom bounce at times in shallow water. This 12.64 lb walleye in the picture was at 20 ft. down and it was caught on a bass lure while trying different lures.

2010 had us hooked up with 2 ten lb walleyes at the same time, one on each side of the boat. Now that's fun!!! Lake Erie is loaded with quality size walleyes from 5 lb to 8 lb range, with plenty of trophy size walleyes.

Through out the year, I use different marinas, spanning over 60 miles of Lake Erie shoreline, in order to keep my clients on top of migrating walleyes.
